Hi, sorry i just have few questions to start with:

- If a flash fail during the process is there any Dead USB mode or any way to recover or reflash (cause as far as i understood, you need to restart the phone is a specific mode)

- I'm an old Nokia user (and for a while) so i have the "NEVER DOWNGRADE YOUR FIRMWARE!!" engraved in my mind :) ... is it the same with Android and this device?

if you fail a flashing process its not the end of the world. you wont be able to get the phone to boot, but youll still be able to reach the boot loader screen to flash a new firmware, so you dont have to worry about bricking the phone like with symbian.
yeah, theres 2 different boot modes, one is volume up+home (center) button+power, the second is volume down+home (center) button+power
you can go from one firmware to another, ive personally downgraded from JG3 to JG1 and then to a custom rom after that, no bugs.

With symbian you can save it using Jaf and his "dead usb" mode :)

Another question:

- If i understood properly, rooting the phone makes you loose your warranty, so is there an easy way to remove the root... just in case :)

I don't see why you can't update after rooting your phone. All it does is open up the powerful user rights in your phone, but again, there is no update available through Kies yet, so I cannot confirm this.
