hello everyone! iv noticed that when downloading apps and such like, its storing onto the internal phone memory and not using up the 16gb internal memory card, is there a way to change this? i have no external sd card fitted!

Not at the moment, have to wait for Froyo or someone make a custom rom that support App2SD.
