Does this software run as an app on Android devices too or is it a windows program ?

Just wondering how it would recover photos that have been deleted from the phone memory.

It does not show the USB thumb drives or the phones SD cards only the physically connected ones. So it cannot be used for this.

Edit: Correction. It will recognise them if in Mass Storage Mode.

Now I want to know if there is a secure delete tool to remove files from your phone so they can't be recovered :)

Well, as far as I know there is no way to recover delete items which stored on the phone internal memory. For secure delete tool beyond recovery, there are many such as CCleaner, Eraser, File Shredder, just to name a few. For recovering media files from external phone memory, there is a list of good programs from Digital Camera Recovery (http://www.digital-camera-recovery.com/) site. Regards.
