Obviously there is the Android Market already on the Galaxy S.. and the somewhat limited Samsung Apps as well.
I've also heard about AppBrain.. (although my initial foray into that brought up some warnings about the site when I looked on the comp which made me stop delving any further)
Anyone got any other alternatives to the standard Android Market? - I read somewhere that there were a few on the go. (or would be soon?)

Well, there were talks about Amazon Android market, also there is the Gameloft Market, GetJar market, Herocraft, I think.. maybe we'll have PopCap market.. In other words, each big gaming company has its own market, they usually don't trust Android Market...
How do you mean don't trust Android Market? - Is it not just somewhere to sell your product?

They don't trust its security, I think.
Regarding the PopCap, I would like to have Plants vs Zombies :)

My favorite PopCap game is Zuma. There is nothing there yet but watch this space for PopCap Android :)

They say that they were surprised at so many requests for Android games, and promised to release some games for Android..

Wouldn't having multiple markets be annoying for us just to find an app?
Though - i can probably understand developers probably want a certain contract or aspect over another market.
Like the numerous torrent sites.. if we end up with multiple Markets.. it will only be a matter of time before you get a third party search site... like Iso Hunt that references them all.
Ultimately.. I think it would be a good thing.
Personally.. I'm annoyed by some of the descriptions on the Android Market at present. - Forget what it was.. but the 'title' initially grabbed my interest.. but then the description told me bugger all about what type of game it was and the majority of the comments were about force closes on particular phones. - Dev's loss at the end of the day though I guess. - It's like doing a crappy trailer for what might actually be a good movie.
