: Static Wallpaper? Am I confusing the term, search box not yeilding much good.

Is it possible to get a wallpaper that allows you to have simply one background, that remains constant, whilst your icons fly over it? I don't like the fact that it stretches the images, I'd like one, that remained constant regardless of how many screens you have.

DirtySoul 11-07-2010, 10:24 PM I can give you a nice Live wallpaper, which is animated but doesn't move (I mean, its resolution is 480*800, not 960*800). Try it, I love this live wallpaper :)

Henry 11-09-2010, 04:28 PM Got it, LOVE IT. Utterly fantastic, thanks so much. I tend to "play" it, otherwise leave it with ten people one hunter, five zombies. The nuke option is wicked, set it to small, then try to save the people! Ha!
Although this is now (and will remain for a long time no doubt) my background, are there any other suggestions?

Goots 12-28-2010, 12:08 AM I think LauncherPro has the option to do what you want, but afaik TouchWiz doesn't, unless there is an app for it.

menu>preferences>Appearance settings>disable wallpaper scrolling... there... static wallpaper..

Have you tried installing LauncherPro from the market ? There are absolutely loads of tweaks you can make, including custom homescreen app icons and static wallpaper.
