Maybe it's your headphones? I found 9 in the standard music player to be very loud. I'm using Skullcandies. If not, maybe you need quality sound files (ie. something around 5 mb or running at 192 to 360 bitrate).

Certainly the size of the MP file will have an impact on the quality and if you're experiencing the same problem with all MP3's then the headphones could be the problem. You can however adjust the volume of any MP3 file using an app called MP3Gain, it free.

MP3Gain does not just do peak normalization, as many normalizers do. Instead, it does some statistical analysis to determine how loud the file actually sounds to the human ear. Also, the changes MP3Gain makes are completely lossless. There is no quality lost in the change because the program adjusts the mp3 file directly, without decoding and re-encoding.

Hope that helps.

i find a interesting tool from Fox Real. it says it can raise the media volume in its "edit". i think converter only can convert videos. it looks like a multifunctional tool. you can try it. i will also try it.
