Hi guys. I have just got my first Samsung mobile. The galaxy S - Obviously. Its my first android phone so im just getting to know what to do with it. Having spend 15 - 20 mins on this forums there seems to be a lot of things to do to the phone to get it working good so I just wanted to know from people what things should I be doing to it??

I have noticed about rooting?? it to get it working sharper. Is there a sticky somewhere for this?
Also I dont appear to get 3g much. Im on vodaphone so do I have to add some different settings?

Any other tips are more than welcome.

hi welcome to the forum if its your first android phone i would leave the rooting alone for now and wait for the 2.2 update coming soon
