Hi All,

Just switched from the iphone 3G to the Galaxy S. I'm no iSheep and wanted to get away from those people who belong to the 'Church of Jobs'!

So far its a nice phone, probably not quite a good UI as the iphone but not far off. I've only had it a few days and so am learing as I go. Some things are better some not.

Quick questions so far:

If I type something and make a mistake, how do I go back and correct it without deleting all the subsequent text?

How do I copy the bookmarks from my pc?

Thanks

Ross

Hello and congratulations on getting a SGS. In time you will get used to it and get annoyed with it and miss some basic settings which are found on the lower phones but I think they are great.

To correct the text tap where you want to delete and replace. It can be tedious if you have fat fingers or if like me long nails but this is the way to do it.

Bookmarks thing. No idea on that one.

I too am an iphone 3g convert. This phone takes some getting used to but its great to have bluetooth back and customisation back and be free of itunes!
The only thing I am missing is a few games I cant find on android - zombie farm, tap fish and bubble pop.
