You manage to install Official JM1 from Kies? Or JP3?

I know JP3 can filter gmail contact group. If you have flashed JP3, I suggest keep it fresh, don't restore any old settings or apps. I also apply the 1 click lag v2.3 and it works really well and stable :)

Hehe... :) Nah. I can't get it to recognize contact groups either, I just tried it out. Doesn't matter to me since I don't use them anyway. Maybe you have to wait and pray, like tiptronic said, Froyo should cope with contact groups

Ok, I will listen to your advice and start over, especially that I have no root for it and Appbrain seems not to be working for some reason.
It has most really nice Program Manager widget, same on JP3?

ps. Appbrain works, for some reason I believed that it keeps list of my apps, and it will allow me to install them automaticaly on my phone, but this is not the case :) I remembers apps alright, but I need to find them one by one :)

I never got more than 8 satellites locked before, it is faster and more accurate but not by huge amounts. If tomorrow wont be raining as much I will try to play with GPS bit more. Did track my way from work but they are usually quite accurate so I don't see much difference.

More good news, on my computer I was unable for past two days connect to Kies no matter what, after flashing Froyo connects fine every time, so maybe we shouldn't blame Kies for everything. (man, I just did it twice, only to feel pleasure of being able to connect properly ;) )
When you pinch on home screen it brings all your pages, so you can select one or delete empty ones - kind of like LauncherPro
Scrolls text message you received on notification bar - never seen it on 2.1
Option to select GSM only or WCDMA only, somebody was asking for this (so you can use 3G only ignoring Edge and GPRS if I understand correctly)

Bad things, there is no root now, so no screenshots, boy I miss them :)

So far I cannot select default program so I'm stuck with stock applications, definetely this is far from being customer ready.

You can easily take screenshots from the ddms console ( you must go in your tools folder from the prompt and just type "ddms" )..
I've not understand if there's more or less RAM available with this fw and I'm also curious about the sd bug that did not allow to install gameloft's games ( and some others similar applications ).. could you clarify my doubts?

Installing whole developer package is hardly as easy as pressing button to take a screenshot, but I couldn't sleep anyway so here you go. Few features I haven't noticed in 2.1 (it doesn't mean they were not there ;-) ) "Select device administrator looks sexy, but it tells me there are none, when I try to select myself :-)

As for games... I thought there are no games for Android ;-) Seriously, somebody else mention Gameloft, you should ask him, I really have no idea.

Can you run some benchmarks like linpack and quadrant? I am especially very curious about linpack score...you can download it from market....tnx

Quadrant does crash, tried it yesterday. Linpack... MFLOPS:14.231 , Time: 5.89, Norm res: 5.68

Tnx...seems much the same as jp3... I wonder if we ever gonna get i higher linpack score under froyo, like nexus one (30 Mflops)

After few days, firmware is as stable as the official Eclair I used before, there are things that work funny like some bits in navigation :)

I miss having root access for few reasons, mostly taking screenshots, but can live without it, having working flash is more useful.
GPS is better but it is still nowhere as good as my two years old iPhone 3g, this is a big disappointment. Still hope for it to be sorted in official Froyo, the release I have is simply work in progress
