Hi everyone,

I pressed 3 buttons at once while looking for a way to factory reset my new Galaxy S i9000, with the intention of changing the language to french.

Now, I have a screen with a yellow sign saying "downloading - Do not turn off Target". My phone is not connected to my PC at the moment. Before that, I had connected my phone to my Wi-fi network (not yet connected to any telco - bought it direct from Expansys)

Is it looking for a flash update? Can anyone help me with this?

if you turn it off it will only interrupt the download, which there is none. its safe to turn off the phone, but usually it wont let you, so you have to pull out the battery. you can pull the battery to exit this screen without causing harm to the phone. Just do not pull the battery or cable once you actually start a flash and it is uploading the files

I wanted to be sure I wasn't about to make a costly mistake.
I also found in the settings where to change the language (should have looked there first...)
