Hi,
Apologies for the question, however I am getting really frustrated with the email set up, and I imagine it is something I am not doing correctly.
I have the phone for about 3 days, I have set up my email account (POP one) this is fine. I am in work where reception is pretty naff, and so a lot of the time my signal strength is either 1 or 2 bars max.
So occassionally I send myself a test email, and it very rarely comes through, so I change to use wireless (strong wireless connection at work) and it then states that there is an error connecting to the server.
So my questions is should the mail work for WIFI and network connectivity, and if it should what have I set wrongly or not at all?

I used to have a blackberry curve, and emails came through straight away, even though this was still on the same network.

If anyone can offer any assistance, possible settings I need to check, I woudl appreciate it, as this is now driving me nuts.

Most likely the problem is with your SMTP settings. When you use your wifi at work it propably doesn't allow you to send emails through your normal email server (SMTP), this is quite usual tactics to fight spam. You can try to change SMTP port from 25 to 587, sometimes it works, if not you need to use different smtp server, check with you IT guys at work.
