Yup, The Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000! :D It beat out every other smartphone on the market, every other Android phone and more importantly it breezed past last years 3GS winner from Apple as well as its signal-challenged 4G contender too!

Even though I have a SGS, I wouldn't choose it as the best smartphone.. at least not until Samsung officially fixes the lag and GPS issues

Edit: AllShare is actually pretty neat.. I just opened it up one day and it can play any music or video from my PC, didn't require any setup

That's pretty cool. The minute I saw this phone, I did whatever it took to own it even though I was in the first 7 mos. of a new 2 yr contract. Glad I did. BTW, T-Mo really stepped up to make it possible w/o paying full price for the phone.

This is awesome news. Samsung Galaxy S does deserve to be awarded. I am glad I bought this phone above the other Android options.
